Modeling plural futures inspired by lived experience

We move through a process that embraces emergence, where we are able to take risks and are open to interrogation.

Imagining together

We are collectively imagining, experimenting and cross-pollinating, to reimagine peace today and in the future, in our communities and globally.

The intention of our experiments

Exploring

We want to unpack key challenges or opportunities to reimagine peace. We use our experience to explore the landscape together.

Discovering

Our lived experience brings new questions and openings. Our shared passion and curiosity unlocks new possibilities.

Testing

We need a sandpit to test our ideas. We collaborate with fellow travellers and learn together through our actions.

The context our experiments

Community building

We are exploring, defining and redefining what it means to be a translocal community, working to create environments that foster care, creativity and liberation.

Peacebuilding

We imagine worlds where peacebuilders and activists are reclaiming the global, communities are defining and re-defining peace, and movements are driving transformation.

Our guiding questions

What forms of healing and solidarity do we need to transform our systems?

We explore the essential conditions and culture that allows us to find the support, solidarity and inspiration to be champions for change in our local contexts.

What architectures might support collective organization?

We experiment with different ways of being and doing together to live by the values we want to see in the world.

What needs to change to begin co-creating alternative worlds?

We interrogate the patterns of the system that uphold the status quo, and invite ourselves to challenge our assumptions and open up to new ways of thinking.

Learning together

We are learning through experimentation and co-creating a practice of deep listening, slow reflection and creative sharing of our journey.
